Creative art workshops in a relaxed café setting

Our Monday Creative Sensory Art session runs alongside our Meet Up Mondays Café and welcomes people with a learning disability, enabling them to express their creativity through simple techniques such as blending colours and using collage and textures, in a relaxed and friendly environment. Café Art is led by a gifted and experienced art tutor.

Mondays during school term time, from 10:00AM - 12:00PM. To book, call: 07511 824170

Café Art is based at St Thomas' Church Centre, St Thomas Road, Brentwood,

Sensory Art Spectacular 2024

During August 2024, Café Art held our annual "Sensory Art Spectacular" exhibition in the Becket Gallery, Brentwood library. It helps to promote the confidence of everyone taking part and gain them an appreciation of what they can do. Thank you to the Essex Community Foundation for funding the art group this year.

Tate Modern Trip 2024

During July 2024, we went to London to visit the exciting exhibitions at Tate Modern on the South Bank. It was great!

Royal Academy Trip 2022

In August 2022, we took the train to London to visit the exciting Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. The art was stunning and gave us lots of ideas for next term. Afterwards we enjoyed our picnic in Green Park. Here are some photos of our exciting day out!
